Jewelry Care

How can I take care of my jewelry?
f
For gold-filled jewelry, you are able to wear the jewelry in the shower and in the pool (it's water safe), however, avoid any harsh chemicals, lotions, or soaps coming in contact with your jewels as these could shorten the life of your jewels. When not wearing the jewelry, please store the jewelry in the box or bag it comes with and put it in a dry and dark area. Do not keep the jewelry out and exposed.

For solid gold jewelry, you are able to wear the jewelry in the shower, pool, to workout, etc. Avoid any harsh chemicals coming in contact with your solid gold jewelry in order to keep it in good shape. When not wearing the jewelry it is best to keep it stored away in a dry and dark area.

For gold-plated jewelry in the repurposed designer collection, it is best to avoid wearing the jewelry in the shower or the pool. Avoid getting the jewelry wet and avoid any exposure with harsh chemicals, lotions, or soaps. The designer pendants are gold-plated so they require more care in order to prolong the life. When they are not in use, store them in the box or bag it comes with and put it away in a dry and dark area. Do not keep the jewelry out and exposed.

I have sensitive skin, will the jewelry turn my skin green?
H
Everybody's skin type and science is different. 14k gold filled is typically safe for sensitive skin, however, it would be unfair to say that it will be safe for everyone as there will always be a caveat. If you have extremely sensitive skin, I would recommend to stick with 14k solid gold in order to avoid any skin reactions. If you have extremely sensitive skin, avoid any gold plated products as well.

How can I clean my jewelry?
In order to clean your jewelry, a warm water soak with detergent-free soap should work well. If it is quite dirty, you can also gently brush it with the bristles of a toothbrush.
